pfft this is so fun

Oh god, I'm really about to review this?
10: Length changes nothing about a movie's chance to be blammed. Granted, if a movie is bad and short, it's worse than if it's bad and long. But, if it's bad and long, it'll still get blammed. Experience here. Newgrounds has high standards.
9: Okay, I can get behind that one. If you must, use text.
8: Hypocrite.
7: I'd personally recommend Pivot first (helps learning animation because it's deceptively simple).
6: Just because you suck at rage games doesn't mean people should stop making them. The majority of rage games are either hosted on their own website or are hilariously stupid so they're considered the best.
5: Hypocrite.
4: Okay, I can agree with this one to some degree, but I have to say that you need to start with stickmen and try to better yourself with them. They're the easiest to work with (I mean, you aren't going to make Zootopia on your first try) and if you do it well you learn a lot about animation and can join the masters, like Hyun. Just don't post your bad anims on here, friend.
3: As I stated previously, hypocrite. (like I legitimately looked over the reviews before the thing itself)
2: I can agree with this, but clickbait used effectively can be a hilariously good surprise.
1: Yeah, and that's strictly prohibited in the rules of Newgrounds as well.
Overall this was weird to look over and some of them were true, and I can see why it was saved, but some of these are...
yeah, no.

OHMYGODYOU-
i've been looking for free flash animators for so long and finally i have found one
WOOHOO!

I named myself Ebola-Chan. Boy was that a ride!

Eh,somewhat boring, but it's a functioning game that's fun to play. My problem with playing Asteroids is that after dying I usually stop playing because it gets old. With this its the same... with the opposite reason. You never die, but there's no score. It's got Megalovania (hurrah) but no sounds other than that. There's no control description besides starting but if you play other flash games you'll probably get it easily. Add score and this would be somewhat fulfilling. I personally like it.

Oh. My. God. It's here.

Um, well... Decent, working game I guess. Neat graphics and cool game play I guess. My list of problems are as follows.
1: No Music: Maybe you have no royalty-free ambient music, but come on. Complete silence isn't cool.
2: Loud as balls sound: Never mind about complete silence, a volume bar would've been nice.
3: Somewhat buggy controls/Game: Sometimes the controls don't respond. At all. Other times there's lag in between the key press and the movement. Then, there's the fact of "You actually clip through the trees and walls but a Game Over screen pops up when you touch one." which actually causes the sound to bug out. There are some other minor things, but I'm not nitpicking here.
4: Bland: It's really disinteresting. Not a bad game or concept, the art and everything about it is bland though. Maybe other people will enjoy it more than I, but I personally don't like it.
However, as a plus to you, the game's addicting. I'm still playing it. It's decently hard, and I like that. Overall, I would not recommend this game, but I can see how other people would.

Thanks for the review; I somehow haven't seen it until now. I do agree with most of your points, and I won't make the same mistakes in any future games.

The trees, though, I actually set the collision box to just the trunk so that you can still ski through the branches. I can see now how that looks a little glitchy, but it was intended to make the game more fun and not crazy difficult. I made this game on Stencyl, which is generally pretty buggy software, so I'm convinced the audio bugs were on their end at the time. I noticed them myself, but my game was so simple I was sure nothing was wrong, and there was really nothing I could do about it to fix it.

Thanks for playing enough to make all those points though, I respect that.

I actually quite like it. Being a complete nerd like I am, I find this very fun to help me do math fast. It helps me keep sharp in my high honors classes. This really just goes to show that a game doesn't need an insane concept to be interesting and fun; it just needs to work and have a lot of effort put into it. I like the minimalistic style to it and the calming feeling. The only reason you aren't getting five stars is the fact of no music. But still, I like it. I hope to find more great content from you.

Music: 5 Star worthy.
Idea: 5 Star worthy.
Story: Who cares?
Gameplay: 5 Star worthy
Art: It's retro yo!
Difficulty: I'm dead.

This... is amazing. I love it so much. It's a game that's balanced perfectly so that it's very obviously possible but so frickin hard. Honestly my favorite part of the game is the timer. It definitely instills a feeling of "F*CKING YOLO!" And something that was fun through playing this is that my eyes were easily able to track the patterns (speaking of which, beautiful art) but my hands were just like "Nope! We're going to die 26 times before we leave here!" The music loops nicely, and I actually didn't look at the story or get very far, but I can tell it's great.

I've been on Newgrounds since before I had hair on my balls. Look through my old posts if you want some cringe, but otherwise I'm just another run-of-the-mill edgy teen artist.
